Giraffes, Horses and Elephants - Walking

Performance & Analysis: Connection to Learning

From the side:

This video shows my quadruped robot moving in giraffes, horses and elephants' walking gait. The red dot on its front right leg was tracked using the app called Video Physics.

Graphs:

This graph with X and Y axis shows the exact movement of the leg (red dot). This graph also shows different leg movement from the other two quadruped gaits even though the leg mechanism and the leg itself remains the same.

This graph show how much the robot moves forwards each step (changes in the X value as time progresses).

This graph show how much the leg moves up and down each step (changes in the Y value as time progresses).

From the Top: normal speed

From the Top: slow speed

These two videos filmed from the top shows the robot's gait (giraffes, horses and elephants' walking gait): left rear, left front, right rear, right front.
